For a while now I've been following Titans in Time and let me tell you, their music has helped me A LOT! Hailing in from Cleveland, OH and in the process of writing their third album, Titans and Time puts out one of the best messages the music scene has seen in quite a while. In today's society, so many people have issues. I know I'm one of them and I'm certainly not afraid to admit that, even more so after listening to their music. They make you feel better about the things you are going through and make you realize it's always worth the fight. It's like their music gives you the hope and strength to continue on and I think it's pretty incredible because it really works. Luckily, I reached out to Titans in Time because they inspire me to be a better me and I wanted to really pick their brain and get to know them. So, I sent them a message and all 4 (Matt, Vince, Nate and Matt) agreed to do an interview with me! I wanted immediately to know where their name came from because it's some unique and original. The guys had told me that Nate and Matt were watching movies one night and it just so happened that the movie they were watching was "Clash of the Titans". They really like the idea of using "Titans" in the name so they added Time and it stuck. Titans in Time has a similar sound to Incubus, Papa Roach and Stone Sour. Although they haven't played beside those three bands, they have played beside a lot of others. Some of those bands being Gemini Syndrome, Trapt, The Red Jumpsuit Appartus, and Islander. Islander is also a pretty big deal to the Titans because they are very influenced by them, not only them but Nothing More as well. So how did they actually become Titans in Time, you ask? Matt B. and Nate had actually played together before Titans was formed. Unfortunately that had to be apart for a while because of college. In the meantime, they still stayed in touch. Nate had worked with Vince for a while and they did a few exchanges of music that was written, along with lyrics that were written. This confirmed that Vince was now in the lineup. Not long after, Matt D. ended up starting to come to band practice and lucky for us, everything clicked! Thus, we have Titans in Time. For the rest of this year, they have a few local Cleveland shows left and they are currently working on getting some weekend tour dates for the fall and winter seasons. They are also working on ideas for a new music video and they're constantly writing. Titans mantra, "We're All Titans" have really helped a lot of people, me being one of them. They truly focus on how important it is to just keep your chin up, head high and get through whatever you're going through. They know that everyone has different backgrounds and despite what they may be, they're there for you. If you haven't checked out Titans in Time yet, please do so! They have two albums out right now and I can promise they are totally worth the listen. So, will you become a Titan? Thank you so much Titans in Time! I look forward to seeing all of you soon!
