With the new album "Voices" coming out in May 2018, Farewell to Fear is bringing it this year! With having influences ranging all over the place, I'm so excited for this new album coming out.
I was lucky enough to do a short interview with them and they were so spot on with so many things. They were also really happy that I had asked them to do an interview. 2018 is a big year for these guys and they want their fans to know, "We want to hear from you!" Message them, comment on all of their stuff, like their Facebook page, even talk to them after their sets if you can make it to their shows! They are really great people and love their fans. After all, if it wasn't for us loving them, they wouldn't be working so hard to put out new music.
They'd love to play with Gemini Syndrome, Nonpoint, and Nothing More, and hopefully this year really helps them get to that point. I would absolutely love to see them on tour with those guys! They want to eventually tour the North West because they haven't been able to make it over that way yet.
I unfortunately have anxiety and their name meaning means a lot to me. They told me, Farewell to Fear is basically like a mantra, just keep it in your head and don't let fear keep you from doing what you want. That has helped me more than anyone could ever imagine and not to mention their music. The sound that these guys have just helps out so much regardless of what emotion you may be feeling.
Farewell to Fear are guys just like you and I, and to prove that, I had asked them what their most embarrassing moment was. 'We were playing the Rockville stage and power went out. Funny when a crowd can't hear you.' I couldn't even imagine! I had also asked who their youngest member was and they told me that of course it was the cartoon watching, cereal eating beast, Jimmy. These guys are absolutely hysterical!
Even though they have had some embarrassing moments and they watch cartoons, they're biggest accomplishment was when one of their full songs was played on the Howard Stern Show! Talk about something huge!
All together this is a great group of guys that want to keep making candy for our earholes and wants to be more in contact with their fans! Let's show our love and get out their and talk to them whenever we can and especially promote the hell out of them!
Farewell to Fear, thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy lifestyle and talk to me and answer my interview questions. You guys kick ass and I can wait to see what else you do during 2018. I can't wait to see you guys live! Keep rockin'!
